Superfood Goji Berry Smoothie
July 29, 2016
Good news people: this smoothie is awesome!
And that’s a fact, whether you like it or not.
It’s ridiculously healthy and tastes delicious. Like there’s no need to talk about it because it’s a total no-brainer.
It fills your belly and helps keep you full. It’s a perfect on-the-go breakfast, snack or even a meal for lunch. Actually, this smoothie is so perfect the time of the day truly doesn’t matter.
You guys all know about goji berries (also known as wolfberries) right?
The bright orange-red berry that has been used for over 6,000 years by herbalists in China, Tibet and India to (among other things): Protect the liver, help eyesight, improve sexual function and fertility, boost immune function, improve circulation and promote longevity.
The main reason I make this Superfood Goji Berry Smoothie is because it’s delish. On top of that I get a super boost of nutrients — which is a nice added bonus.
The mild, tangy flavor of goji berries adds an interesting taste of sweet and sour to this smoothie and works perfectly with the sweetness of the berries and the creaminess of the Greek yogurt.
If you’ve been eating goji berries by the handful you should totally try ‘em in a smoothie.
It’s life changing. Trust.
