Warmer months are all about smoothies. At least for me. I gorge myself on them throughout the day. First one in the morning and at least another one in the afternoon when I’m done with training.
Usually with breakfast I prefer the all-fruit ones. It goes without saying it, I always (always, always) add at least one scoop of protein powder.
During the last couple of weeks I’ve been pretty big on mixed berry protein smoothie.
Probably because I’ve found some awesome tasting strawberries that I quickly froze before they became overripe.
Probably because I’ve bought way too many bags of organic frozen mixed berries at Trader’s Joe that are jamming my freezer.
Probably because it’s made with pomegranate and grape juices that are absolutely my favorite juices.
Probably because it’s one of the best tasting smoothies around.
For all these reasons (and maybe more) this mixed berry protein smoothie has been my fave breakfast treat.
